Here's how to clean up a messy Downloads folder in about two minutes, using AI. So this is my Downloads folder. Fifty seven files in one big pile. Invoices, flight confirmations, bank statements, screenshots, installers. Sorting this by hand? That's an hour I'm not getting back. So instead, I'm going to let an AI file organizer called Sortio handle it. In Sortio, I head to the Sort screen, and it asks for a folder. You can browse for one, or honestly, just drag it straight in. And there it is, all fifty seven files. Now here's the part I like. I just describe how I want things organized, in plain English. There are presets, but I'll write my own: receipts and invoices, travel documents, bank and tax paperwork, screenshots, app installers, and personal notes. And that's it. One sentence, that's the whole setup. I hit Sort Files, and Sortio reads through the file names and starts building a plan. And here's the important bit: nothing has moved yet. This is just a preview, so you always see what's going to happen before it happens. For these fifty seven files, it takes about twenty seconds. And here's the plan. Every single file gets a destination, and a one line reason why. Installers go to Apps, invoices to Finance, boarding passes to Travel. And if anything looks off, you just change it right here. Or untick a file, and it stays put. Happy with it? One click on Apply Changes, and, done. All fifty seven files, filed away in a couple of seconds. And if I ever change my mind, there's an Undo in History that puts everything right back. And that's the same folder now. The pile's just gone. Receipts, travel, screenshots, installers, notes, everything's in its own folder. Same files, but now I can actually find them. Sortio's free to try at get sortio dot com. Works on Mac, Windows, and Linux. Thanks for watching.
